Hello! Thanks for visiting! I have been married to Bret for 31 years and we have 3 boys, Garret, Colton and Blake. I am the grandma to an adorable grandson, Grayson, and the owner of twin Wheaten Terriers, Rozie and Hazel.
In my past life, I was an elementary school teacher. After having the boys, I decided to stay home and try to raise them to be decent human beings. After being a stay-at-home mom for 10 years, I decided I wanted to do something but wasn't sure exactly what that was. My husband had mentioned many times over the years that he thought I should get into real estate...I didn't think that was for me as I wasn't a "sales" person. After considering it for a few minutes (seriously) I decided to take a leap of faith and give it a try. Wthin a few days I signed up for the real estate course and passed my tests for Kansas and Missouri. I soon realized that real estate (for me anyway) is not about being a sales person but rather, for me, it's about helping people in different stages of life. It's educating the first time home-buyer, being sensitive to the needs of the empty nester considering leaving the home they raised their famiy in for 25 years. For me, It's about guiding people through what can be for a very emotional time. It's about making dream homes come true...whether that means your first home, your forever home or those in between.
